Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang
The Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (simplified Chinese: 中国国民党革命委员会; traditional Chinese: 中國國民黨革命委員會; pinyin: Zhōngguó Guómíndǎng Gémìngwěiyuánhuì, abbreviated 民革) is one of eight registered minor political parties (in addition to the Communist Party of China) in the People's Republic of China.
It was founded in 1948 by left-wing members who broke with the main Kuomintang (KMT) during the Chinese Civil War, especially those who were against Chiang Kai-shek's policies. The party claims to be the true heir of Sun Yat-sen's legacy. By the end of June 2012, it had 101,865 members.
Among the officially sanctioned political parties of the People's Republic of China, the Revolutionary Committee is seen as "second" in status to the Communist Party of China. Thus, the Revolutionary Committee is alloted the second highest number of seats in the People's Political Consultative Conference (30%). It also owns numerous assets, some formerly owned by the Kuomintang, throughout mainland China. The Revolutionary Committee operates a range of party-owned institutions, such as party schools.

China’s eight other non-communist political parties | STALIN'S MOUSTACHE
Less known than it should be, China actually has eight officially recognised parties apart from the Communist Party. These are non-communist parties with a total membership of 700,000 and actually provide invaluable feedback for the government in its continual efforts to gain a feel for public opinion. Members of these parties often have government posts…

I.O.U.: The Failure of the Second United Front: Incidental or the Result of an Incorrect Perspective?
Some groups out there today are able to recognize the obvious about the so-called Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) -- that they are a revisionist and comprador party that, after a decade of heroic struggle for liberation that nearly succeeded, has now abandoned people's war, dismantled the popular government they had established in the liberated areas, jailed the People's Liberation Army in cantonments, and which is working vigorously, with the full support of the imperialists (including the United States) to disband the PLA altogether and integrate its fighters into the nation's regular army in exchange for a seat in the country's bourgeois parliament -- while others prefer to champion their path as some sort of major ideological breakthrough. It is painfully obvious that the Nepali "Maoists" are surrendering, not advancing in their revolution.
