Dyvers: A History of Draconic Races in Dungeons and Dragons
On Wednesday, November 27 James Wyatt's latest Wandering Monsters column, Born of Dragons, was released. The article was a good read, but it got me thinking about the history of Draconic races in Dungeons and Dragons and I'd like to work through that today using James' article as a framework for my own.

D&D 30 Day Challenge Day 2: Favorite Playable Race | Hunter's Quarry
This is a toss up for me, between Elf and Halfling. I will probably go Elf because I play them more, but Halflings and the concept of a small, quiet race is very enticing. I think the draw to Elves is based largely on my personal perception of them as a class that is closer…

D&D Next (5E) Should the "core" world be centered around the classic races?
When 4th edition came out the core world was centered around the PHB races which included Dragonborn and Tieflings. Now for me, I didn't really like these races and always made me think of Talislanta or being in Mos Eisley. I don't mind exotic races, but I don't like when they are made part of the norm unless I am creating a world that specifically has them as common. I guess what I'm hoping for is essentially Greyhawk coming back as the core world. What do you think?
